Terms and conditions
Payment Terms
Customers will be billed at the end of each month using direct debit via GoCardless. This allows us to invoice for the relevant quantity of lessons and action a payment simultaneously - don't worry this is not a flat fee. Other than taking a few minutes to setup the direct debit this means there is absolutely no admin on your end. You will be provided an itemised invoice via email and a notification from GoCardless detailing when the payment will be taken (this will be 4 or 5 days from the invoice date).
Please note: we are unable to accept pay-as-you-go payments for ongoing bookings - this includes cash payment. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Cancellation Policy
Please give a minimum of 48 hours notice for cancellations.
Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours of the lesson start time will be billed at half of the lesson rate. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the lesson start time will be billed at the full lesson rate.
Lateness - not applicable for home visits
Please note that your lesson will end at the pre-booked time. If you are unable to make the start time, that’s no problem - it’s up to you to decide whether to still attend and have a shorter lesson. Please note that the lesson will still be billed in full.
Lesson times - specific to home visits
Ample tIme is factored in between appointments but sometimes we might be running slightly ahead or behind - usually due to traffic conditions. If this exceeds ten minutes before or after your lesson start time we will contact you to discuss further. The duration of your lesson will be unaffected by the start time. If we are unable to arrive within 30 minutes of your start time then you are able to cancel the session without charge.
Instruments
For home visits you will be required to have an instrument at home. This is particularly relevant for drums, keyboard and production.
Safety
All tutors have an enhanced DBS check (formerly CRB) and are insured for public liability up to £2,000,000.
