Director of Portishead Music School, Tom is a professional drummer who has been working in the industry for a number of years. He is also a lecturer at The British and Irish Institute of Modern Music (BIMM) and a tutor for Rhythm Magazine. In addition, he is a busy working drummer balancing live performance with product demonstrations, freelance writing and social media management. Tom has a first class BA (Hons) in music, specialising in teaching and a post-graduate level PGCert qualification in teaching and learning. He has been teaching drums at further and higher education level since 2011 and has a long background in working with children.
